Home Is Where The Art Is

Kathi recently participated in the Children's Hospital Boston "Home is Where the Art Is" project. Several local artists were selected to create over 100 works of art with a "Home" theme. The artwork will be hung in the hospital's new Kent Street Family House, a large Boston house built in 1889 that is currently being renovated to house out-of-town families who have children in the hospital. From the Kent Street House website, "The house on Kent Street will enable Children's to nearly double the number of families it serves each year, and vastly improve on the quality of the housing by creating a cozy, homelike setting."



The artwork is traveling around to different venues in the Boston area until the house is completed. Currently all the work is on display at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center (BCEC) and an opening for this exhibit is scheduled for Thursday, March 26th. Kathi will be at the reception, and will also be performing Irish music for the event with Hogan's Goat. Other exhibits are planned for Logan Airport, Brookline Open Studios, and the Brookline Public Library.

Limited Edition Archival Prints

Kathi's new Enhanced Photographs are now available as limited edition prints. Only 250 of each will be made available. Most of the other artwork on this website is also available as limited edition prints - including a print of Kathi's popular Vermont Reflections quilt (see the Wooden Quilts page). Images can be purchased for $85 each (plus shipping). They are printed using archival ink and paper, and each is numbered and hand signed by the artist.
